Cute ‘not my cat’ wholesomely saunters in to dog-lover’s home, adopts his giant German Shepherd, and now the two take daily naps together: ‘Welp this wasn’t my cat’

There is no creature on this planet with more confidence than a cat. Cats will literally do anything without fear of consequence. They will walk right up to you and try to steal your food. They will claim the refrigerator as their own on a hot summer day. They will sit on a pile of laundry you are actively trying to fold and stare at you until you leave to do something else. They are the only animal that domesticated themselves and basically convinced hoomans to take care of them. If you ever need to channel some confident energy in your life, you now know where to turn to.

On the long list of things that cats give zero fluffs about is your purrsonal property. Your house means nothing to them because as soon as they enter it, it's theirs. This is why the 'not my cat' phenomenon is so common, because cats will just saunter into your home and adopt you like it's any other day. And you know what the real kicker is? We love it.

The kitty in the post below took it one step further and went straight for the hooman's heart - and by heart, we mean their giant German Shepherd. They adopted the doggo, and the hooman couldn't say no to those puppy dog eyes, so now they have a cat and a dog. Even better? The two take naps together daily. It's purrfect.

Not your dog, his dog. Just like hoomans think that they are the owners and their cats are the pets, this doggo also doesn't realize that the cat is only letting him think he's in charge. But the cat knows the reality - that everyone in the house works for him now.
